Lauren Howard

Lauren Howard is the Principal and Owner of Indy Word Nerd Writing and Marketing. She previously served as Vice President of Marketing and Client Success for tech start-up FreightRover. Her career spans many sectors including technology, transportation, and education. She has spoken nationally on topics of innovation in transportation, technology advancement, and attracting and retaining a Millennial workforce. Lauren serves as the Chapter Coordinator for Conscious Capitalism – Indianapolis.

Lauren helped earn Commercial Carrier Journal’s “2015 Innovator of the Year” honors, is a two-time Indy’s Best & Brightest Finalist, and a YWCA Women of Achievement Finalist. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Butler University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Indianapolis. She is Accredited in Public Relations and holds the designation of Certified Professional Coach. Lauren considers herself a Conscious Capitalist believing that business can do great things for the world.
