Becky Doemland is the founder and CEO of Good Works Indy, an Indianapolis-based consultancy that cultivates partnership and support between companies and the nonprofit community. With more than 25 years of corporate philanthropy and marketing communications experience, Becky uses strategic-thinking, creativity and community connections to foster relationships between client companies and organizations.
Before starting her business, Becky served as Director of Marketing Services and Director of CSR Communications for OPENLANE (formerly KAR Global), an auto remarketing company where she conceptualized and implemented the company’s corporate-giving philosophy, “We believe in second chances for cars, people and communities.”
Becky is an active volunteer with nonprofits in Central Indiana. She is the Board Chair for Westminster Neighborhood Services, a community center that serves the basic needs and educational opportunities for individuals and families living on Indy’s Near Eastside. She is also a steering committee member for Women United, a donor network that actively contributes to the mission of United Way of Central Indiana through advocacy, volunteerism and financial contributions. Becky recently graduated from Nexus Impact Center’s inaugural Powerhouse Cohort, a year-long interactive study to advance diversity, equity and inclusion on nonprofit boards.
